UNIMAID Releases 2025/2026 Post-UTME/DE Cut-off mark, Eligibility and Registration Details

The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has announced that its 2025/2026 Post-Admission Screening Exercise will hold from Monday, August 11, 2025, to Thursday, September 11, 2025.

All prospective candidates are advised to complete the screening within the stipulated period, as the university emphasized that there will be no extension beyond the deadline.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 through the Remita platform.

  2. Only UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who chose UNIMAID as their first choice in the 2025/2026 JAMB are eligible.

  3. UTME candidates must have a minimum score of 150, except for courses with higher cut-off marks as specified on the UNIMAID website.

  4. Candidates must meet the prescribed UTME subject combinations and admission requirements in the 2025 JAMB Brochure.

  5. Applicants must possess at least five O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English, in not more than two sittings.

  6. DE candidates must have at least a Lower Credit in ND/HND or Merit in NCE.

  7. Only O’Level results obtained directly from examination bodies (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) or photocopies of original certificates will be accepted.

  8. Candidates must ensure their O’Level results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS.

Application Procedure

  1. Visit www.unimaid.edu.ng and click on Post-UTME Screening 2025.

  2. Log in with your JAMB Registration Number as username and unimaid@2025 as password.

  3. Upload a recent passport photograph (minimum size: 200KB) and select your course of study.

  4. Enter your phone number and email address, then generate payment of ₦2,000.

  5. Fill in your bio-data, input O’Level/DE results, and upload the required documents.

  6. Submit your application online.
