How UNIMAID Students Escape Kidnapping Attempt

Two students of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) narrowly escaped a kidnapping attempt in Bauchi state.

The students, who were traveling with their colleagues, were ambushed by armed individuals identified as Fulani kidnappers near the village of Magana.

The assailants, wielding guns and cutlasses, robbed the students of their valuables and nearly harmed one of their companions. One of the students managed to escape into a nearby bush and sought help from security forces.
