In a commendable recognition of academic excellence, two medical students from Osun State University (UNIOSUN), Akande Omowunmi Oluwadamilare and Efuwape Adedayo Seseyon, enrolled in the College of Health Sciences, have been honored with scholarships totaling over N904 million. The prestigious scholarships were awarded by the West African Gas Pipeline Company Limited (WAPCo) as part of its annual scholarship award scheme for the 2023/2024 academic session.

Dr. Isaac Adjei Doku, the General Manager of Corporate Affairs at WAPCO, emphasized that the selection of Akande and Efuwape was based on their outstanding academic achievements. The scholarship fund is designed to cover various educational expenses, including tuition fees, books, and other ancillary costs related to their studies.
