The Vice Chancellor of Osun State University (UNIOSUN), Prof. Clement Adebooye, announced on Tuesday that the university would adhere to the public service rule, ensuring that no staff member goes home with less than 33% of their salary.

Prof. Adebooye made this known during the inaugural annual lecture of the University Bursary Department in Osogbo. He assured that the implementation of this rule would commence from March, benefiting staff members currently earning below 30% of their salary.

"We will not allow anyone to take home less than 33% of their salary by the end of March," Prof. Adebooye stated, emphasizing the university's commitment to staff welfare and academic development.
