Professor Abraham Mulwo, Dean of the School of Information Sciences at Moi University, praised the donations, stating they would significantly enhance the university's resources and contribute to academic excellence.
The project began when Dr. Bukoye and his colleagues discovered surplus modern textbooks during a move to a new campus building. The faculty of Engineering and Design has since joined the initiative, with hundreds of textbooks already shipped to Nigeria. Dr. Bukoye highlighted the powerful impact of these donations, aligning with the university's goals to support education and reduce inequality in developing countries.
