The collaboration extends beyond academic boundaries. Professor Adebowale expressed his commitment to broadening the relationship by engaging other affiliated institutions, including the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), for joint research and academic development.
Professor Wanyama, in turn, expressed optimism that the MOU would become one of the most dynamic agreements in Africa. His visit reciprocated earlier interactions between UI’s Vice-Chancellor, Principal Officers, and Heads of Departments, who had visited Kabarak University.
Kabarak University, a well-equipped faith-based institution, offers a comprehensive range of programs—from bachelor’s degrees to Ph.D. levels. Their commitment to excellence aligns with UI’s vision for collaborative growth.
The forthcoming MOU will cover various areas, including research collaboration, exchange programs for academic staff and students, sharing academic materials and information, and facilitating the transfer of academic credits.
