University of Ilorin Declares End-of-Year Break for Staff and Students; Essential Services Exempted

The Management of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has officially announced a seasonal break for all members of the university community ahead of the Christmas and New Year holidays.

According to an internal memorandum dated December 22, 2025, issued by the Registrar's Office, the university management has graciously approved a break for both staff and students, with effect from Tuesday, December 23, 2025, to Friday, January 2, 2026.

Affected members of staff are enjoined to adhere strictly to these directives. The Registrar, M.A. Alfanla, concluded the memo by wishing all staff and students a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor.
