University of Ilorin Students' Union Resolves Transportation Issues

The University of Ilorin Students' Union (UILSU) has successfully addressed transportation challenges faced by students.

On October 7, 2024, UILSU delegates, alongside Student Affairs Unit management, met with transport unions serving university routes to tackle extortion and pricing issues. The meeting resulted in the condemnation of intended extortion by Korope (Shuttle Buses) and Post Office-PS transport drivers.

Additionally, the bus fares were reaffirmed as follows: Terminus to PS, ₦300; and Post Office to PS, ₦500.

UILSU appreciated the university administration, Student Affairs Unit, and colleagues for their support.
