The University of Abuja has signed key MoUs with Chinese institutions to establish the China-Nigeria Automotive Engineering College and expand academic collaboration.

The Chairman of the Governing Council, AVM Saddiq Ismaila Kaita, and Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Aisha Sani Maikudi, of the University of Abuja recently concluded a productive visit to the People's Republic of China. The visit focused on fostering collaborative initiatives with leading Chinese institutions.

A major milestone was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Changchun Polytechnic and China Mutual Commitment Company Limited for the joint establishment of the China-Nigeria Automotive Engineering College. Additional partnerships were sealed with the Jilin Institute of Chemical Technology, and the delegation met with the University’s LUBAN Workshop partners at the Tianjin Sino-German Vocational and Technical University.
