The American University of Nigeria (AUN) is set to commemorate its 20th Founder’s Day on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the university’s campus in Yola. The event marks two decades of academic excellence and community impact, with a special focus on honoring the institution’s founder, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, GCON, and the achievements of its vibrant community.

Established in 2004, AUN has consistently delivered on its promise of providing world-class education and fostering leadership, innovation, and sustainable development in Nigeria and beyond. The Founder’s Day celebration will spotlight the university's remarkable journey and its bright future.

A highlight of the event is the keynote address to be delivered by His Excellency Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State and the 2023 Presidential Candidate of the Labor Party.
