University of Jos Announces Academic Calendar for 2024/2025 Session

The University of Jos has released its revised academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session. The calendar outlines key dates for both the first and second semesters.
For the first semester, registration for returning students will commence on Monday, September 30, 2024, and for new students, registration will begin on Monday, October 7, 2024. Lectures for returning students will start on Monday, October 14, 2024, while lectures for new students will begin on Monday, October 21, 2024. The first semester will end with exams starting on Friday, January 18, 2025, and concluding on Saturday, February 8, 2025.
The second semester will commence on Monday, March 3, 2025, and continue until the final examinations scheduled from Monday, June 9, 2025, to Saturday, June 28, 2025. Following the second semester exams, the faculty boards will meet to consider the results, and the Senate will approve them for finalization.
