University of Jos Issues Clarification on School Charges for Returning Students

The University of Jos has released a notice clarifying the payment of school charges for returning students. The announcement, dated October 18, 2024, and signed by the Dean of the Directorate of Students Affairs, Prof. Christopher Piwuna, aims to address discrepancies observed by some students on the payment portal.

Students who have already initiated fee payments but notice higher figures on their portal are advised to visit the Finance Officer of their respective faculty. This will allow the transaction to be flushed, enabling the system to refresh and display the correct amount.

Students who have not yet logged into their portal to initiate payment are not affected by this issue. They are encouraged to log in and proceed with their payments, as the correct fees will be reflected.
