University of Maiduguri Extends 2024/2025 Pre-Admission Screening Exercise

The University of Maiduguri has announced an extension of its 2024/2025 Post-UTME screening exercise to Saturday, October 12, 2024. This extension is applicable to all candidates seeking admission who have not yet completed their screening.

In a circular dated September 20, 2024, the university emphasized that this will be the final extension, urging candidates to take advantage of the additional time. A non-refundable fee of N2,000 is required, payable through the Remita platform.

Eligibility for the screening includes candidates who selected the University of Maiduguri as their first choice during the 2024 JAMB registration and achieved the minimum UTME scores for their chosen courses. Candidates must also meet subject requirements as specified in the 2024 JAMB brochure and possess at least five O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English, at no more than two sittings. Direct Entry candidates must hold a minimum of lower credits in National or Higher National Diploma programs or Merit in NCE.
