University of Maiduguri Hosts FIRS Delegation

The University of Maiduguri received a delegation from the Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS) headquarters, Abuja, led by Director, Government-Business Department, Atiku Mohammed Dukku.

The delegation was received by Prof. Emmanuel Camble, Director of the Academic Planning Unit, on behalf of the Acting Vice-Chancellor.

The purpose of the visit was to sensitize the university on government tax policies and to encourage prompt and regular remittance of taxes by Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs). The FIRS commended the university for its compliance with existing policies and prompt remittance of taxes, presenting a letter of commendation.
