UNILORIN Sets Date for 39th Convocation

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has scheduled its 39th convocation ceremonies, with events set to run from Thursday, October 17 to Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Graduands from both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes will take part in the two-day main ceremony on October 21 and 22.

The convocation activities will begin with the Vice Chancellor's Press Briefing on October 17, followed by the convocation lecture delivered by Prince Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, on October 18. The convocation play, *“Nilee Wa’”*, will also be staged on October 18 at the institution's Performing Arts Theatre.

The highlight of the convocation week will take place on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, when President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Visitor to the university, is expected to commission several newly completed projects. The ceremony underscores the university’s continuous strides towards improving its infrastructure and fostering a conducive academic environment.
