University of Maiduguri VC Receives NUC Accreditation Team

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, received a National Universities Commission (NUC) team on December 2, 2024, for an accreditation exercise. Led by Professor Sani Abba Aliyu, the team focused on evaluating the university's BA English and BA Kanuri programs.

Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, Vice Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), has warmly welcomed a delegation from the National Universities Commission (NUC) for an accreditation exercise. The visit, which took place on Monday, December 2, 2024, marked a significant step in the university's commitment to academic excellence.

The NUC team, led by Professor Sani Abba Aliyu, was received at the Vice Chancellor’s office, where discussions centered on the accreditation process for the university's Bachelor of Arts (BA) English and Bachelor of Arts (BA) Kanuri programs.
