University of Maiduguri Vice-Chancellor Pays Courtesy Visit to Honourable Minister of Education

Professor Aliyu Shugaba, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri, paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman, SAN, OON, on Wednesday. During the visit, Professor Shugaba extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Minister on behalf of the University of Maiduguri's Senate, staff, and students.

The Vice-Chancellor expressed his appreciation to the Minister for accommodating the delegation despite the short notice and the Minister's demanding schedule. He commended the Minister's well-deserved appointment by the President, highlighting the critical state of the educational sector and the trust placed in Professor Tahir Mamman's organizational abilities and competence to address the sector's challenges.

In closing, Professor Shugaba expressed his confidence that Professor Tahir Mamman would excel in his role and prayed for divine wisdom, courage, good health, and the strength of character to effectively fulfill his responsibilities.
