The University of Port Harcourt has sworn in a new Students' Union President and executive team, led by President Comrade Harmony Lawrence.

The inauguration ceremony was officiated by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Owunari Georgewill, at the university campus.

In his inaugural address, Comrade Harmony Lawrence pledged to prioritize the welfare of students and uphold the values of the institution. He emphasized that his administration would focus on creating a peaceful and prosperous academic environment, working closely with the university management to enhance student welfare and academic excellence.
