A Student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Ifunanya Miracle, who is a recent graduate and owner of a PoS business on campus, tragically lost her life. The incident occurred when she and her friend, identified as Peace, boarded a keke napep (tricycle) after closing her business for the day. Unbeknownst to them, a fellow student, allegedly staging a prank for a skit, simulated a robbery inside the keke.

Fearing for their lives, Ifunanya and Peace attempted to escape from the moving vehicle. In a desperate bid to evade the supposed robber, Ifunanya jumped out of the keke, sustaining fatal injuries upon impact with the road. Peace, meanwhile, suffered injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital.

The prankster, reported to be a final year student of UNIZIK, voluntarily surrendered himself to the police following the tragic outcome of his ill-conceived prank. Authorities at UNIZIK have confirmed that discussions have taken place involving the families of the victims and the prankster.

In a gesture of accountability and remorse, the prankster's family has taken responsibility for Ifunanya's funeral arrangements and has pledged to cover all medical expenses for Peace's treatment.
