UNIZIK Library And Info. Sci Dept Honors Hon. Chinedum Okafor with Humanitarian Service Award
Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, awarded Hon. Chinedum Okafor a Humanitarian Service Award during the Library and Information Science department’s induction ceremony. The department's Head, Dr. Amaka Nwofor, praised Okafor for his philanthropic efforts.

The Department of Library and Information Science at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has honored Hon. Chinedum Okafor, CEO of NED-CHI Groups, with a Humanitarian Service Award. The award was presented during the department’s annual induction ceremony for first-year students.
Dr. Mrs. Amaka Nwofor, Head of the Department, commended Hon. Okafor for his philanthropic efforts and his significant contributions to the department and its students. Dr. Nwofor praised Okafor for his motivational support and kindness.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Okafor expressed his gratitude for the recognition and encouraged the students to stay focused on their professional studies. He assured the department of his continued support and prayers, highlighting his own background in Information Science from Federal Polytechnic, Owerri.
