In a recent development, the Students’ Union Government (SUG) Director of Information for the UNEC chapter has broken the silence on pressing issues regarding school fee invoices and hostel allocations.

Comr. Bassychukwu, the UNEC SUG Public Relation Officer (P.R.O.), released a memo addressing the following key points:

1. Confirmation of School Fee Statement: The university traditionally releases the school fee schedule annually, which is then sent to the ICT department for uploading before public announcement. However, for the ongoing 2023/2024 academic session, this process has not yet been completed. No school fees have been uploaded to any department or class portal.

2. Caution Against Premature Actions: Students are advised against generating any invoices independently and are urged to await official directives from the institution to avoid future complications.

3. Hostel Allocation Information: The memo assures students that information regarding hostel allocation will be communicated in due course. Allocation will follow a similar pattern to the previous year, with batches for first-year students, other years, and final years.
