The Student Affairs Division of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) has announced that it will hold an orientation programme for newly matriculated students of the 2023/2024 academic session. The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 17, 2024, starting at 9:30 AM.

The orientation is designed to sensitize the new students on their duties and responsibilities, including the rules and regulations governing their stay at the university. The theme of the event is "Know Your New Academic Environment and Get the Best Out of It."

The programme will be held at various venues across the campus, with faculty-specific sessions:

- FSS Hall(Faculties of Arts, Law, and FEES) at 9:30 AM

- ITF Hall (Faculties of Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, Engineering, and Environmental Design) at 9:30 AM

- MH(Faculties of Social Sciences, Physical & Computing Sciences) at 9:30 AM
