Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) Student Union Urges NELFUND Beneficiaries to Generate RRR Numbers Promptly

The Student Union Caretaker Committee of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), has advised students intending to pay their 2024/2025 academic session school fees using Nigerian Educational Loan Fund (NELFUND) refunds to generate their Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) numbers without delay.

In a statement issued through the union's public relations officer, the president, Nasiru Yusuf Shehu, emphasized the importance of obtaining RRR and invoice early to avoid unnecessary payment complications.

"Students intending to use their NELFUND refunds for school fees payment must generate their Remita (RRR) and invoice as soon as possible," he stated.

The union further cautioned students to ensure accuracy in providing their details during the process, warning that errors in generating Remita could hinder payment completion. Additionally, delays in obtaining RRR numbers may create challenges in processing school fees through NELFUND refunds.

Students are encouraged to follow the appropriate procedures to prevent setbacks in their fee payment and academic registration.
