Usmanu Danfodiyo University Students Excel in Galaxie Digital World Ltd Competition

Students from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), have emerged victorious in the Galaxie Digital World Ltd contest, showcasing exceptional public speaking skills.

The competition, held on May 31, 2025, at the Farouk Yahya Hall, Army Officers Mess, and Suite Ginginya Barracks in Sokoto, brought together students from various institutions, graduates, and serving corps members.

Bello Sherif-deen expressed gratitude to Allah and his supporters, emphasizing the importance of persistence and learning from professional debaters. He advised young debaters to watch professionals, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and maintain calm demeanor during presentations.

Nuwaira Abdullahi attributed her success to Allah and the support of her family, friends, and online audience. She recommended engaging in class presentations to develop confidence and fluency, stressing that advocacy skills can be acquired through practice.

This victory highlights the university's commitment to fostering debate and public speaking skills among its students .
