WASCAL Batch Six Students Visit FUTMINNA Vice-Chancellor

Students of the West African Science Service Centre on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL), Batch Six, Federal University of Technology, Minna, paid a courtesy visit to Vice-Chancellor Prof. Faruk Adamu Kuta on November 25, 2025.

The Director of the Centre, Prof. Appollonia Okhimamhe, introduced the students from various West African countries, highlighting FUT Minna's strong reputation in science and engineering education. She noted the university's steady progress since 1983 and its excellence in research and innovation.

Prof. Kuta welcomed the students, advising them to focus on their studies and utilize university facilities. He emphasized their potential to become ambassadors of their countries and FUT Minna, urging them to uphold the university's values.
