Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma is facing rising criticism from its students and alumni, who are voicing their disappointment over the state of the university’s main gate, which many have described as “dirty,” “old,” and “shameful.” The gate, which serves as the first impression for visitors, staff, and students alike, has sparked an outcry on social media, where students express frustration over what they feel is a neglected and unsightly entrance.

Students and alumni took to social platforms to share their views, pointing out the gate’s worn-out look and calling it unbefitting of a higher institution’s main entrance. “The entrance of a school matters a lot,” one student commented. “Every time I enter the school and set my eye on that gate, I feel ashamed and worried.”
