Professor Yetunde Makinde, wife of the immediate past Vice Chancellor of Babcock University, Prof Kayode Makinde, has passed away at the age of 69. She reportedly died on November 21 after a brief illness.
The Professor of Nutrition, hailing from Iperu Remo in Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State, was the Director of Babcock Ventures before her demise.

A memorial website has been created in memory of the late seasoned administrator and academician.
Colleagues and friends mourned her passing, with Samuel Daniyan recalling their acquaintance for more than fifty years. Adejare Adeniran praised her gentle smile, and Olukayode Oke remembered her as caring, peaceful, and kind.
