Inyama’s unexpected death, reportedly caused by complications from fibroid surgery and an erroneous blood transfusion, has left the institution and her colleagues in mourning.

According to a family source, Inyama was admitted to the hospital for treatment related to fibroid issues. However, her condition took a dire turn after receiving an incorrect blood type. “She died of loss of blood due to fibroid complications under mysterious circumstances. We were told that a wrong blood transfusion led to her death,” the source revealed.

The complications from the surgery led to her rapid deterioration, necessitating a referral to another hospital where she ultimately passed away. This incident has ignited serious concerns regarding medical negligence and the safety protocols in Nigerian healthcare facilities.
