In a remarkable achievement, Wisani Hlungwana, a brilliant African graduate, proudly announces his success in earning a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Witwatersrand University, South Africa. Not only did Wisani graduate with the distinction of a rocket scientist and aircraft designer, but he also clinched the esteemed Wits Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment Aeronautical Engineering Design Award for his exceptional final year project in 2022.

"I had the privilege of being invited to the Wits Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment’s Prizegiving Ceremony and received an 'Aeronautical Engineering Design Award' for having had the best final year Aeronautical Engineering design project in 2022," he proudly stated.

Wisani attributed his success to the mentorship and guidance provided by one of his professors during the challenging Aeronautical Engineering design project. In a separate but equally inspiring story, Hauwa Umar Usman, a young African lady who overcame memory loss challenges during her academic journey, celebrated her triumph by earning an Aeronautical Engineering degree from the University of Brighton, United Kingdom. Hauwa, one of the four first-class graduates from her department in the 2016/2017 academic session, emerged victorious despite her earlier struggles.
