Mumuni Napari Hanifa, a 28-year-old from Tamale, Ghana, has made history by earning a PhD in Applied Statistics from the University for Development Studies, becoming the youngest woman from her city to achieve this academic milestone.

With a bachelor's degree in Statistics and a master's in Mathematics, Hanifa currently serves as a lecturer at Tamale Technical University. She is now exploring postdoctoral opportunities to further her academic career.
