The Vice-Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Emmanuel Aluyor, disclosed this during the 5th Convocation Ceremony held on Saturday, 4th November, 2023.

In his speech, he said, "Today, we are here to celebrate with our parents and guardians at the graduation ceremony of 501 graduates of Edo State University Uzairue out of which 11 are First Class, 155 are Second Class Upper division, 222 are Second Class Lower division, and 14 are Third Class. We have 65 classified degrees.

"Additionally, the Postgraduate statistics show that 9 candidates completed Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programs, 4 successfully completed Masters of Philosophy (M. Phil) programs, 48 are graduating with Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees, while 38 will receive Postgraduate Diplomas.

He further congratulated the graduates and emphasized that no matter what happens in life after here, hold on to our tenets of discipline, honesty, integrity, hard work, and excellence.
