The Honourable Minister of State for Education, Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad, recently welcomed the team from Ladi Memorial Foundation for an advocacy visit in preparation for the launch of the 2025 Skill Up Nigeria (SSCP23) initiative, which will feature the UNESCO-approved Pilot Schools Sewing Championships.
During the visit, Dr. Ahmad emphasized the importance of practical training through skills acquisition, noting that it is a core principle of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
She highlighted that skill education offers a viable solution to out-of-school challenges, contributing to both personal and national development.
