Dorothy, who hails from Chicago, displayed an exceptional aptitude for learning from an early age, starting to speak at 8 months old and doing math by the age of 4.

At 9 years old, she attended high school, and by the time she turned 10, she had already earned an Associate degree in Psychology from the College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois.
