Boyfriend Arrested After Allegedly Killing 300 Level UNIPORT Student

The police in Rivers State have apprehended a man identified as Collins on suspicion of killing his girlfriend, Otuene Justina Nkang. Nkang, a 300-level Biochemistry female student at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), had previously been reported missing.
Her remains were discovered in a mutilated state at the residence of the suspect, located on Road 15, NTA Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Collins was apprehended by estate security personnel when he attempted to dispose of the victim's body.

Witnesses, prompted by the security team's alert, entered the suspect's apartment, where they uncovered Justina's dismembered body parts placed in bloody sacks.

Collins was taken into custody and the deceased's body parts were transported to the morgue.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the state, Superintendent of Police Grace Iringe-Koko, did not provide any comments on the incident. However, she stated that the Commissioner of Police (CP) would address the press regarding the matter at 12 p.m. today.
