21-Year-Old Establishes New Life Preparatory School for Boys in Georgia

In a groundbreaking initiative, 21-year-old King Randall, founder of The X for Boys organization, is set to open the New Life Preparatory School for Boys in Albany, Georgia. The school aims to empower young Black boys in the community by providing a comprehensive educational experience.

Randall expressed the impact of The X for Boys, stating, "Giving them a space where they're around a lot of other young men and around other men trying to mold you and train you." The organization has witnessed success, with activities like field trips and a book club contributing to an impressive 86% reading comprehension rate among participants.

Initially self-funded, Randall later garnered support from the community and nationwide, allowing him to expand the organization's programs. With a longstanding dream of establishing a school, Randall, with community backing, is now turning that dream into reality.
