240 Pupils Compete in 38th Bauchi Qur’anic Recitation Competition as Gov Bala Urges Officials to Act with Fear of Allah

A total of 240 students, including males and females, have assembled to participate in the 38th edition of the Bauchi State Qur’anic Recitation Competition, hosted in Kafin Madaki, the headquarters of Ganjuwa local government area in the state.

The event, declared open by Governor Sen. Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, carried an inspiring message for the judges and officials present, urging them to perform their duties with the utmost reverence for Allah.

The governor, represented by his deputy, Mohammed Auwal Jatau, acknowledged the positive impact of the Qur’anic Recitation Competition, which was first introduced in 1986. This event has significantly engaged the youth in the practice of learning and memorizing the Holy Qur'an.

Governor Bala Mohammed expressed gratitude for the remarkable achievements of Bauchi State representatives in the competition at both national and international levels.
