2,889 Education Students Receive N75,000 Bursary Awards, Says Minister

During the first quarterly meeting of the Federal Ministry of Education, Minister of Education Prof. Tahir Mamman disclosed that a total of 2,889 students pursuing education-related courses in Nigerian higher institutions have been awarded N75,000 bursary awards.
The bursary awards were part of a scheme initiated by the ministry in 2022, inviting applications from qualified students enrolled in education courses at universities and colleges of education. The initiative aimed to support students financially in their pursuit of education degrees.

He also noted the engagement's aim to improve efficiency and streamline government operations by identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
