Rhonda E. Davis, a resilient 60-year-old grandmother, has earned the title of the best graduating student at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, achieving an exceptional 3.97-grade point average in her Bachelor's degree. Overcoming personal challenges and societal obstacles, Rhonda's determination led her back to academia at the age of 56, fulfilling her dream of obtaining a college degree.

Despite facing personal challenges, including her husband leaving after expressing her educational aspirations, Rhonda's unwavering spirit prevailed. Winning a scholarship through Cheyney University’s Keystone Honors Academy, she pursued her dream of education and excelled in both graphic design and fine arts.
Celebrating her commencement ceremony surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and mother, Rhonda expressed her future plans, including growing her jewelry box business and creating children's books. In addition, she aims to pursue a Master’s degree in fine arts, aspiring to inspire others with her story.
