Madeline, who had left school in 1960, realized her dream by graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska, Omaha, United States.

She candidly explained that life's complexities forced her to leave her education behind in 1960. By the time she had three children and experienced career changes that took her away from her immediate environment, she found herself approaching retirement age.
