81 Medical Students Inducted into Medical Profession at ABU

Ahmadu Bello University's College of Medical Sciences has inducted 81 students into the medical profession. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the students' journey, as they transition from medical students to house officers.

The Provost of the University, Prof. M.S. Shehu, urged the new doctors to uphold medical ethics and dedicate themselves to serving humanity. The Chairman of the occasion, Prof. Kabiru Bala, encouraged the doctors to be critical thinkers, innovators, and advocates for the well-being of society.

The ceremony featured a paper presentation on "Medical Practice in Resource-Limited Settings: The Social Responsibility of a Physician." The Chief Medical Director of ABUTH, Prof. Ahmed Hamidu Umdagas, assured the new doctors of a slot for their house jobs in ABUTH.
