The Anambra Police Command issued a statement on July 2, informing the public, especially Anambra residents, about a remarkable discovery. A three-month-old baby was found abandoned in front of Oraukwu Boys Technical College.

The Infant was rescued by a compassionate passerby and subsequently taken to Eziowelle Police Station. Despite all efforts, authorities have been unable to locate the baby's parents or any relatives for identification.

As a result, the police have entrusted the child to the care of the Director of the Welfare Department in Idemili North Local Government Area.
