Abia Police Commences Investigation into Disappearance of Four School Children

The Abia State Police Command has uncovered that it has started examination concerning the vanishing of four children of similar guardians, who ventured out from home for school in the state. The state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Maureen Chinaka affirmed this in a statement yesterday.

The Abia State Police Command has uncovered that it has started examination concerning the vanishing of four children of the same parents, who ventured out from home for school in the state. The state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Maureen Chinaka affirmed this in a statement yesterday.

The family of one Mr. Chimobi Agah, an indigene of Amasiri in Ebonyi State, who lives in Abia has been tossed into disarray over the vanishing of his four youngsters whose location are yet to be learned.

The four children of the same parents have been pronounced missing in Umuahia, after a Keke rider, contracted to take them to school, took them to an obscure objective.

The kids whose names were given as Mmesoma, Declaration, Godswill and Chinwotito, are the children of Agah, an inhabitant of Umuagu, Umuahia.

ASP Maureen Chinaka, confirmed the development. She said: "On 28/11/2023, at around 15:30 hrs, Mr. Chimaobi Agha and his significant other, Mrs. Chimaobi Oluchi, inhabitants of Umuagu (IBeku, Umuahia North LGA), visited Ohuhu Police Divisional base camp to report an occurrence. As per their record, on Monday, 27/11/2023, at 0730 hrs, Mrs Chimaobi Oluchi accompanied their four youngsters distinguished as; Chinweotiti Chimaobi seven-7-year-old (female), Nmesomachi Chimaobi, seven-year-old, (female), Testimony Chimaobi, four-year-old, (male) and Godswill Chimaobi two-year-old, (male).

The kids' mom accompanied them to the intersection of her road to board an obscure tricycle bound for Great Ambassadors College, Ukaiuga Nkwoegwu, Ohuhu, in Umuahia North neighborhood committee. Nobody accompanied or went with them, taking into account that the oldest is seven-year-old and the tricyclist is obscure."

Tragically, the Police said toward the finish of the school day, the youngsters didn't get back as expected.

She uncovered that the police have started an examination concerning the whereabouts of the missing kids while additional examination has shown that the youngsters were absent in school on the predefined date, and the examination to follow the missing youngsters is progressing.

"We ask anybody with data that could support finding them to immediately answer to the closest police headquarters,'' the police said.
