In a bid to promote and enhance personal hygiene among students, the Health Director of the Student Union Government, Abia State University, Uturu, Comr. Ukoh Martins, embarked on a comprehensive hygiene campaign targeting female hostel residents. The initiative aimed not only to raise awareness about cleanliness but also to provide tangible support to the students.
During the event, Martins acknowledged the significant improvement in general sanitation within the female hostels since his last visit. Emphasizing the importance of personal responsibility for cleanliness, he encouraged attendees to prioritize their hygiene, stating, "Cleanliness starts from you."
