This directive comes in the wake of a recent tragic incident where a student lost their life during a clash between rival cult groups near a private lodge along ABSU-Isuikwuato Road.
Expressing zero tolerance for any form of cultism, Professor Ogbulu emphasized his administration's commitment to ensuring the safety of both students and staff members. Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the university, Lt Commander ThankGod Evurulobi, provided insight into the ongoing investigation, stating that the Police are actively pursuing the suspected perpetrators of the student's death. He extended condolences to the bereaved family while urging parents to vigilantly monitor their children's associations and living arrangements, thereby deterring them from engaging in activities deviating from their academic pursuits.
