Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Releases List of NELFund Beneficiaries

The Students' Union Government (SUG) of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) has announced that the list of NELFund beneficiaries whose registration fees for the last session were settled will be made available at the Student Affairs Division. An electronic copy of the list will also be shared subsequently.

According to the announcement, NELFund paid the school fees for the previous session (2022/2023), which was less than the current school fee charges for returning students. As a result, beneficiaries will be required to pay the difference in charges.

The SUG has provided important information for the following categories of students whose names appear on the NELFund Beneficiaries List:

- 400-Level Students (Thick and Thin IT) Arrangements will be made for a refund of their arrears.

- Final-Year Graduates: Graduated students will also receive refunds, with guidelines for processing refunds to be made public.

- Spill-over Students: These students are required to pay the differences to meet the current school charges.

The Students' Union Government has expressed appreciation for the university management's efforts and remains committed to engaging with the management to enhance student welfare.
