Academic Marvel: Kassidy Parnell Graduates with 4.10 GPA, Secures $4.5 Million in Scholarships from 100 Universities
Parnell's exceptional academic journey has led to acceptances from prestigious institutions, including Southern University, Saint Louis University, Butler, Oklahoma State, Marquette, Seton Hall University, Loyola University Chicago, University of Kansas, and Kent State University.
Kassidy Parnell, a brilliant young black girl from Tara High School in Baton Rouge, United States, has graduated with a remarkable 4.10 GPA and achieved a groundbreaking feat by earning scholarships totaling $4.5 million from over 100 universities across the country.
Not only a stellar high school student, but Parnell is also enrolled in computer science classes at Baton Rouge Community College, pursuing her associate’s degree concurrently.

Expressing immense pride, Parnell's father, Lorenzo Bynum, described her as an inquisitive and explorative learner who approaches her studies with diligence, making parenting an easier task.

“She loves to learn new things. If she doesn’t know something she will look it up and remember everything about it. She is not afraid to explore new horizons and takes pride in her school and the work she does for IBM. She really makes our job easy as parents,” said Lorenzo.
Lorenzo, diligently tracking each acceptance letter and scholarship offer through an Excel spreadsheet, noted that Parnell has garnered academic and merit scholarships, four full-ride scholarships, and 13 Presidential Scholarships.
