NSUK Receives NUC Approval for 18 New Academic Programsnasa
Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to commence 18 new undergraduate and postgraduate programs starting from the 2024/2025 academic session.
Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), is set to introduce a range of new academic programs, following the approval granted by the National Universities Commission (NUC). This expansion will include both undergraduate and postgraduate programs aimed at enhancing academic diversity and research opportunities.
The approval was conveyed in a letter dated December 11, 2024, addressed to the Vice-Chancellor of NSUK and signed by Abubakar M. Girei, Acting Director of Academic Planning, on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the NUC. The letter confirmed that these programs would be delivered on a full-time basis at the university’s main campus, starting in the 2024/2025 academic session.

The NUC’s decision follows a resource verification visit conducted by a panel of experts to assess the university’s readiness, including human and material resources, to offer these programs.
