ACCA Regional Director Visits Nile University, Commends Strong Partnership

Nile University of Nigeria recently hosted the Africa Regional Director of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Mr. Jamil Ampomah, alongside the ACCA-Nigeria leadership team led by Mr. Tom Isibor, Country Director, during a courtesy visit to the University.

The delegation was warmly received by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dilli Dogo, FNAMed, DFMC, and members of the University Management team.

In his welcome remarks, Prof. Dogo reaffirmed Nile University’s commitment to fostering impactful collaborations that bridge academia and professional practice. He emphasized that the University remains dedicated to supporting students’ academic and professional growth by providing platforms that prepare them for global relevance.

Mr. Ampomah commended Nile University for its sustained commitment to advancing ACCA professional initiatives — a partnership strengthened through a long-standing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between both institutions.

During the visit, Mr. Ampomah presented certificates of completion to Nile University students who successfully concluded the Foundation in Accounting (FIA) Programme while in 200 Level. He also encouraged the over 51 students currently enrolled in the programme to continue striving toward professional excellence.

The visit further reaffirmed Nile University’s dedication to nurturing globally competitive graduates through strategic academic and professional collaborations.
