Adamawa State University Promotes Three Academic Staff to Higher Ranks

The Adamawa State University, Mubi, has announced the promotion of three academic staff members to higher ranks.

The promotions were announced by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Augustine Clement, during the university's 130th Senate meeting held on July 24, 2025.

The newly promoted staff are:

1. Dr. Umaru D. Jongur, promoted to the rank of Professor in Political Science.

2. Dr. Domo Gama Albert, promoted to the rank of Associate Professor (Reader 3) in Parasitology.

3. Dr. Maryam Ahmed Usman, promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in Medical Biochemistry and Enzymology.

The Vice-Chancellor congratulated the newly promoted staff and encouraged them to continue producing groundbreaking research and contributing to the university's academic excellence.
