ADUSTECH Dominates National IT Competition, Clinches Top 3 Positions

In a resounding display of academic excellence and technological innovation, students of the Department of Computer Science, Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTECH), Wudil, have emerged 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners at the National IT Competition for Tertiary Institutions organized by the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS).

The competition, which featured top-performing institutions across the country, showcased the brightest minds in Information Technology. ADUSTECH's outstanding performance has placed the university firmly on the national map as a rising force in digital innovation and tech-driven education.

This remarkable achievement is a reflection of the university's growing commitment to technological advancement, championed by the strategic vision of the institution and the dedication of its academic departments. The Department of Computer Science, under the capable leadership of Dr. Abdulmalik Ahmad Lawan, has been instrumental in nurturing and preparing students through intensive academic mentoring, tech drills, and innovation-based learning

Weeks of focused preparation, extra lessons, and quiz drills culminated in this historic victory, proving that investment in knowledge and mentorship yields excellence.

The official award ceremony is scheduled to take place during the NCS International Conference in Kano, mid-August 2025.
